About us

IEPA – Independent Education Providers of Australia – was started in 2018 by a group of education professionals seeing a need for a truly representative association.  We seek to become the pre-eminent group in Australia, providing industry leadership, lobbyists on the behalf of members and promoting best practice in education.

Inaugural Meeting

We have formed for the express purpose of giving you, our Member RTOs throughout Australia, a direct voice at the decision-making table, whether it be with the Federal Government, State Governments or ASQA. We will draw strength from numbers, common purpose and a cooperative approach directed towards strengthening the sector in which we all operate and in particular, its reputation within government and the wider community.
We look forward to continuing this dialogue with your help and support. Please become a member and help us to give voice to our needs.

As many of you would know we have already had a conference in Melbourne last November in preparation for our meetings with the Honourable michealia Cash, Minister for Small Business, Skills and Vocational Education and Commissioner Pateerson from ASQA and we are proposing to continue this communication and discourse.
We have had an overwhelming response to our call for Members.
You will shortly receive Membership Application forms together with a notice of our next meeting which we hope a great number of our Members might be able to attend.
